The variety of habitats has lead to a wide range of birdlife, ranging from Butor étoilé, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, all three British Woodpeckers, abundant grebes, waterbirds and waders, plus raptors that predate on them. May/June has a profusion of warblers and songbirds.
