Baggersee is a popular recreational lake created from a former gravel pit. It is easy to observe Liska and Crvenokljuni Labud with their young (summer). In winter, Galeb klaukavac arrive in large numbers accompanied by Veliki Vranac and Krunata Patka.

Access
Baggersee is located just south of Strasbourg, in the town of Illkirch-Graffenstaden. It's easily accessible by public transport from Strasbourg city center, with tram line A. From the tram stop (1) it is a short walk to the Baggersee. You can also park near the lake. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
