Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site that is transformed into a natural reserve and recreational area. In winter, it is easy to observe many Krunata Patka and Glavata Patka. There are also many Riječni Galeb and Galeb klaukavac. In summer, there are only Crvenokljuni Labud, Liska and Ćubasti Gnjurac and a few Mali Gnjurac.

Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site located in Bischheim near Strasbourg. It's quite far from the tram stop, so it's better to take the car or a bicycle. There's a large parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk around the lake is approximately 2 km.
