Description
Étang du Rouillard is a recreational area that offers many birds a habitat during the breeding season. Numerous pairs of Crvenokljuni Labud, Kanadska guska, Liska, Divlja Patka and Ćubasti Gnjurac breed in the area. A host of nesting passerines accompany them, such as Bijela Pastirica, Slavuj, Siva Grmuša and Kratkokrili Voljić. Other species that can be observed include Crvenokljuna Čigra, Siva Čaplja, Vjetruša and sometimes Sokol Lastavičar. During migration birds like Kulik Sljepčić, Crvenonoga Prutka, Vivak and Ćukavica make a stop annually on the grasslands near the airfield. Mainly at the beginning of the year Crnoglavi Galeb can sometimes be observed. Trstenjak Rogožar and Trstenjak cvrkutić sometimes stop in the small reedbeds of the pond in early spring. Muharica and Crnoglava Muharica are regular in the autumn. Winter is also interesting to observe overwintering ducks.

D'autres espèces sont présentes en période de reproduction mais ne semblent pas se reproduire, comme la Crvenokljuna Čigra, les 3 espèces d'hirondelles, le Siva Čaplja, parfois un Vjetruša ou Sokol Lastavičar sera aperçu en vol au dessus de l'étang. Access
Étang du Rouillard is located near the town of Limay, on the bank of the Seine River, west of Paris. There is a large parking lot near the lake. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. You can make a circular walk of 3,5 km around the two lakes.
