Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of Patka Pupčanica, Patka Žličarka, Zviždara, Mali Galeb, Crnoglavi Galeb fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of Crvenogrli Plijenor and Dugokljuna Čigra, but Crnogrli Plijenor, Kaukal and Patka kulašica too. During breeding season Blistavi Ibis and Žličarka feed in the marshes.
