Description
A mosaic of water, reed, swamp groves and grasslands in the excavated peat. That is De Deelen, in the heart of the province of Friesland. In autumn and winter, thousands of ducks and geese, including Zviždara, Lisasta Guska, Patka Žličarka and Sjevernomorska guska come to De Deelen. Rare species such as Crna Čigra, Čaplja Danguba and Eja Močvarica also live in the area. If you listen carefully, you may be able to hear the Pjegavi Cvrčić singing in the spring. Other birds you can see here are Siva Guska, Žličarka, Modrovoljka, Veliki Pozviždač, Divlja Patka, Krunata Patka, Glavata Patka, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Škanjac, Kanadska guska, Močvarna Strnadica and Crvenokljuna Čigra.

Small parking lot available. It is a walking area with some marked paths, Unfortunately also sometimes used by dog walkers. Has a small bird observatory. From the parking to the birdhide is about 1 km.
