Description
The Knarbos Oost is a young forest area with reeds and small marshy parts. You can spot almost all summer guest songbirds there, because there are so many hawthorn bushes. For example Slavuj, Grmuša Pjenica, Grmuša čevrljinka and Žuti Voljić. In the young forest you can already find Veliki Djetlić and Mali djetao. In the fields around the forest, the Šareni kulik is sometimes seen in the spring, and in the winter Škanjac gaćaš and Mali Sokol.

Nederlands: Het Knarbos Oost is een mooi, klein bosgebied met veel zangvogels. Het is een jong bosgebied met riet en kleine moerassen. Je kunt er nagenoeg alle zomergast zangvogels spotten, omdat er zoveel meidoornstruiken zijn. Bijvoorbeeld Slavuj, Grmuša Pjenica, Grmuša čevrljinka en Žuti Voljić. In het jonge bos zitten al Veliki Djetlić en Mali djetao. In de akkers rond het bos wordt in het voorjaar wel eens de Šareni kulik gezien en in de winter Škanjac gaćaš en Mali Sokol.

Knarbos Oost is located south of Lelystad Airport. It is easily accessible via Vogelweg N706. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The area is best explored on foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 4 km.
