Description
The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Južni galeb, Crnoglavi Galeb, Dugokljuna Čigra, Morski Vranac, and Bluna. Some rarer species that can be seen are the Veliki zovoj, Mala gregula and Balearska gregula. In winter Mali ronac has been seen several years.
In the reeds Svilorepa, Trstenjak cvrkutić, Common Waxbill, Močvarna Strnadica, and Crnoglava Grmuša can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Divlja Patka, Mala Bijela Čaplja, Čaplja Govedarica, Siva Čaplja and Vodomar are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like Crnoglavi Batić, Livadna Trepetljka, Mrka Crvenrepka, and Pupavac.

The mouth of the Riera de Ribes is located at the seafront in Sitges, and can be reached by car, or by walking if you are in Sitges. You can park right there (click on the P on the map for further directions).
