Access
Gammelstadsviken nature reserve is located about 4 kilometers north of Luleå. A trail starts at a parking lot next to the old Haparandavägen. From the bus stop Vänortsvägen on Porsön, a new, accessible trail enters the reserve. From the north, the bird tower is reached by a path about four kilometres long starting at the open-air museum Hägnan in Gammelstad's church village. Another hiking trail starts south of the reserve at notviken's stop, next to the pedestrian and bicycle path. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that parking.
