Description
Çelebibağı Marshes has different habitats that attract many bird species. The landscape is unique with vast mud flats in the Lake Van closed basin. Shorebirds and other water birds are abundant and the diversity of birds is impressive. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Zlatokrila utva, Plamenac, Kokošica, Ždral, Patka Pupčanica, Vlastelica, Modronoga Sabljarka, Kulik Blatarić, Eja Močvarica, Zmijar, Riđi škanjac, Sjenica Mošnjarka, Pčelarica, Zlatovrana, but also rare birds like Žutokljuni Labud, Mali labud, Tankokljuna liskonoga and many more.
