Description
Yeniçağ Gölü is a natural lake with a length of 7 km and a width of 2.5 km. The water level of the lake varies seasonally depending on the rainfall. The area around the lake is reedy and swampy. The lake has a bird watching tower. I often go and observe and take bird photos. Among the birds you can encounter are Zlatokrila utva, Patka Pupčanica, Čukar, Vlastelica, Kosac, Riđa Štijoka,Siva Štijoka, Ćukavica, Bjelokrila Čigra, Crna Roda, Bukavac, Čapljica Voljak, Čaplja Danguba, Žuta Čaplja, Gak, Žličarka, Sup starješina, Bjeloglavi sup, Orao Kliktaš, Orao krstaš, Suri orao, Eja Močvarica, Eja Livadarka, Eja Strnjarica,Riđi škanjac, Ćuk, Zlatovrana, Crvenonoga Vjetruša, Crnoprugasti Trstenjak, Pjegava Grmuša, Krüper's Nuthatch, Istočna šarena muharica, Bjelovrata muharica, Vrtna strnadica and Crnoglava Strnadica.
