Description
Dunkovytsia-Horbok fishpond and it's surroundings are an interesting place for birdwatching and especially good for seeing waders. Among the waders that are regularly seen here are Zlatar Pijukavac, Vivak, Kulik Blatarić, Kulik Sljepčić, Veliki Pozviždač, Crnorepa Muljača, Kameničak, Pršljivac, Plosnatokljuni Žalar, Žalar Cirikavac, Mali Žalar, Šljuka Kokošica, Krivokljuni Žalarand Prutka Migavica. But als other birds like herons, gulls, terns, grebes and ducks are easy to see and nice birds like Žličarka, Crna Roda and Čaplja Danguba.

The wetland is located between the villages of Dunkovytsia and Horbok. A circular route around the wetland is about 9 km. You can park along the banks of the wetland. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
