At Ewelme the overgrown watercress beds provide shelter for rodents, which in turn attracts bird predators such as Kukuvija, Crvena lunja, 3 egret species and Siva Čaplja. Smaller birds include Zelendur, Češljugar, Crnokapa Grmuša and Močvarna Strnadica, pursued by Kobac. King's Pool may have Vodomar, Mali Gnjurac, Mlakuša, Krunata Patka and Liska.

Access
From Oxford take A423 south for 12 miles then minor road left through Benson. There is no car park at the Watercress beds but onstreet parking in the village centre, plus car park near playground. Reserve access is free and unrestricted. Visitor centre admission £3, restricted hours.
