Description
Frenchman's Rocks is a useful seawatch point in late summer and early autumn, best when a SW or NW wind is blowing. Best views are from the hill next to Wavegen Power Station, called Rubha na Faing on the Ordnance Survey map. There is a car park at Claddach near Currie Sands beach.
Birds to see are Patka crninka, Crna patka, Sjeverni plijenor, Crnogrli Plijenor, Crvenogrli Plijenor, Sooty Shearwater, Obična gregula, Balearska gregula, Lastorepa burnica, Veliki pomornik, Širorepi pomornik, Kratkorepi pomornik, Arktička čigra, Lastorepi galeb, Troprsti galeb, Riđa muljača, Sjeverna trepteljka, Kameničak and Morski žalar.
