Description
Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Mala Čigra and some Dugokljuna Čigra and Crvenokljuna Čigra. Several wader species, Vjetruša, Kukuvija, Crna patka, Poljska Ševa and Juričica. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Močvarna Strnadica, Trstenjak cvrkutić, Kratkokljuni puzavac, Gorska Pastirica, Muharica, Čižak and Kokošica. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
