Description
The area comprises of a large area of heathland with both deciduous and conifer woodland.
(*1), from around the car park area scan for overflying Škanjac, Vjetruša, Kobac and Crvena lunja. During the Summer Škanjac osaš are sometimes seen. More open areas have can have Golub Dupljaš, Drozd Imelaš, Zelena žuna, Livadna Trepetljka, Poljska Ševa and Ševa Krunica. Gorse (Ulex) patches have Crvenoka grmuša and Crnoglavi Batić.
(*2), Broadleaved woodland here hold Batokljun, Mali djetao, Brgljez, Kratkokljuni puzavac. In Summer Grlica, Muharica, Šumska Crvenperka, Zviždak, Crnokapa Grmuša and Kukavica can all be expected. Birch (Betula) trees can attract Smeđoglavi Batić, Šumski Zviždak, Siva Grmuša, Brezov Zviždak, Grmuša čevrljinka, Juričica, Zimovka and Dugorepa Sjenica.
(*3), Court Copse area, scattered scrub here on the North edge of the copse, have 'roding' Šumska šljuka and 'churring" Leganj in the evenings. More open areas have Livadna Trepetljka and Poljska Ševa, scattered trees can have Ševa Krunica and Prugasta Trepetljka.
Be sure to check any scrubland for Žuta strnadica, Crnoglavi Batić, Juričica, Grmuša Pjenica and Grmuša čevrljinka. Conifers around the site can have Zlatoglavi Kraljić, Vatroglavi Kraljić, Jelova sjenica, Čižak and the occasional Krstokljun.

Leave the M27 motorway at junction 2, on roundabout take exit signed Salisbury/Romsey/Fawley/A36, at next roundabout take second exit signed Salisbury/Plaitford/Wellow/A36. Continue on this road turning Left at sign for Bradshaw, pass over cattle grid onto Black Hill Road. Continue on this road and large car park (free) is on the Left.
