Llangorse Lake is surrounded by a patchwork of green hills, fields, meadows and hedgerows. Picturesque lake with reconstructed crannogs, camping/caravanning, boating, fishing, birding and an outdoor activity centre nearby. In the reedbeds are Trstenjak cvrkutić, Trstenjak Rogožar and Svilorepa, plus Močvarna Strnadica. In late summer up to 3000 Bregunica and 400 Kanadska guska roost. From A40, turn right in the village of Bwlch, lake is on the left after 4 miles. Car park and cafe. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Pub in the village. 7 or 8 mile circular walk passes large bird hide, ancient church, and activity centre.
