Mytholmroyd is a village in the Upper Calder Valley. Located on the River Calder in a rural setting surrounded by hills and mixed woodland. The river is a very good place to see Vodenkos. Other birds that can be spotted in and around the village and along the river are Gačac, Riječni Galeb, Šojka, Dugorepa Sjenica, Gorska Pastirica and Bijela Pastirica.
