Description
From September to November, and in April/May Painswick hill is good for seeing migrants, especially early morning. Hundreds of Golub Grivnjaš, Troprsti Zlatar, Zeba, Čvorak, Drozd Bravenjak, Mali Drozd and Šojka can pass through. Also Sjeverna Zeba, Čižak, Batokljun, Žuta strnadica, Sokol Lastavičar, Sivi Sokol, Mali Sokol, Planinski kos, Crvena lunja, Kobac and Eja Strnjarica possible. 4 miles south of Gloucester on B4073 Painswick road. M5 junction 12. 66 bus from Cheltenham stops nearby. Be aware of golfers, dont obstruct play or become an accidental target. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4,5 km.
