Description
Parc Bryn Bach is a country park with lake. Vodomar nest sites on the island. The area also has a Bregunica colony. Poljska Ševa, Crvena lunja, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Krunata Patka. Occasional rarity, eg Mala crna patka in 2013. The moors to the south, with footpath access, rise to 450 metres, look for possible Crnoglavi Batić, Sivkasta Bjeloguza, Leganj, Škanjac, Gavran, Livadna Trepetljka, Kukavica, Vodenkos or Gorska Pastirica.

From A465 Heads of the Valleys road, take Tredegar turning, then first right on minor road for half a mile. Car park on the left. Click on the P in the map for directions. Buses from Abergavenny or Cardiff. No train station nearby.
