Description
Tentsmuir Forest National Nature Reserve provides a variety of wildlife. The area has woods, mud and sand estuary, heath and sand dunes. Grey seals float effortlessly on their backs upriver on a rising tide, only their rounded noses showing above water. In September/October waders are varied (up to 13 species though not numerous). Patka ledara, Patka crninka, Gavka, Patka Batoglavica and Crna patka offshore. Šumska šljuka, Zlatoglavi Kraljić and Krstokljun in the woods. Crnoglavi Batić, Smeđoglavi Batić, Sivkasta Bjeloguza and Livadna Trepetljka on the dunes.
