Description
Valley Wetlands RSPB Reserve has Bukavac that can be heard booming and occasionally flying over the reedbeds. There is a Bregunica colony on the river Crigyll, plus Močvarna Strnadica, Trstenjak cvrkutić, Trstenjak Rogožar, Pjegavi Cvrčić, Crnoglavi Batić and Poljska Ševa. In winter Patka Žličarka, Zviždara, Kržulja and Patka Lastarka. Best to visit before 8.30 am as the jets from the aerodrome are noisy later on. There are otters, dragonflies and pyramid orchids.

Valley Wetlands has a car park on site. The reserve is in the NW corner of Anglesey and accessible by bus or car, see link below. There is also a train station at Rhosneigr.
