The Avant-port is a port zone that includes several basins along the river Rhine. It is easy to see the birds from the riverbank. Many Bütykös hattyú and Szárcsa with some Tőkés réce and Kárókatona year-round, and Kontyos réce and Dankasirály in winter. During a cold winter, Nagy bukó is sometimes seen.
