Description
The Deixilfurter See is the main lake in a series of small lakes surronded by mature woodland. It is easy to walk around the whole lake and offers a mix of good woodland and wetland birding throughout the year. In winter, Kendermagos réce and Nagy bukó can be found on the lake and in summer there is breeding Nyári lúd, Búbos vöcsök and üstökösréce. cserregő nádiposzáta can also be heard singing in the reedbeds around the lake in the summer. In the surrounding woodlands, it's possible to see tüzesfejű királyka, Rövidkarmú fakusz, Búbos cinege, Barátcinege and kormosfejű cinege at different times of the year.

Access
The Deixilfurter See is located west of Tutzing. There are multiple car parking options close by and the lake itself is about a 15 minute walk from the Traubingerstrasse in Tutzing itself. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. A circular walk around the lake is about 3 km.
