Description
Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. Csigaforgató, Nagy póling, Szürke gém and Piroslábú cankó are all likely on the beach around the waterline. kőforgató, Dolmányos varjú and Angliai barázdabillegető may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. Vetési varjú is also possible. Üstökös kárókatona is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although Kárókatona is becoming more common in recent times. Dankasirály is common with occasional Szerecsensirály. Pehelyréce and Tőkés réce are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where parti pityer, cigánycsuk and Havasi varjú could be encountered.
