Description

Monte Reixa is a mountain in the protected area of Parco naturale regionale del Beigua and part of the Ligurian Appennines. The diversity of environments that are found during this walk allows you to observe various species of birds, from small passerines such as Búbos cinege and Kormos légykapó in places rich in vegetation to Havasi lile, Parlagi pityer and raptors in the grassy areas or on the rocky peaks. Especially recommended during migration periods where it is possible to observe, with a bit of luck, Kígyászölyv , Darázsölyv , Fehérkarmú vércse , Törpesas, Daru and occasionally even Fakó keselyű.

Italiano: Il Monte Reixa è una montagna situata nell'area protetta del Parco naturale regionale del Beigua e parte dell'Appennino Ligure. La diversità di ambienti che si incontrano durante questa passeggiata permette di osservare diverse specie di uccelli, dai piccoli passeriformi ai rapaci nelle zone erbose o sulle cime rocciose. Particolarmente consigliato durante i periodi di migrazione.

Il sentiero attraversa un fitto bosco e poi si apre in ampie radure erbose o rocciose. Nota: si consiglia vivamente di seguire sempre il percorso.

Access

The quickest access route is from the Faiallo pass (where there is also a car park, a picnic area and a restaurant), with a short walk. It is possible to insert the summit of Reixa in longer, circular itineraries, starting from different locations in the municipality of Genoa (for example Sambuco, Fabbriche or Crevari) and also covering sections of the Alta Via.

Italiano: L'accesso più rapido è dal passo del Faiallo (dove si trovano anche un parcheggio, un'area picnic e un ristorante), con una breve passeggiata. È possibile inserire la cima del Reixa in itinerari più lunghi e circolari, partendo da diverse località del comune di Genova (ad esempio Sambuco, Fabbriche o Crevari) e percorrendo anche tratti dell'Alta Via.
