Description
A mosaic of water, reed, swamp groves and grasslands in the excavated peat. That is De Deelen, in the heart of the province of Friesland. In autumn and winter, thousands of ducks and geese, including Fütyülő réce, Nagy lilik, Kanalas réce and Apácalúd come to De Deelen. Rare species such as kormos szerkő, Vörös gém and Barna rétihéja also live in the area. If you listen carefully, you may be able to hear the Réti tücsökmadár singing in the spring. Other birds you can see here are Nyári lúd, Kanalasgém, Kékbegy, Nagy póling, Tőkés réce, Kontyos réce, Barátréce, Búbos vöcsök, Egerészölyv, Kanadai lúd, Nádi sármány and Küszvágó csér.

Small parking lot available. It is a walking area with some marked paths, Unfortunately also sometimes used by dog walkers. Has a small bird observatory. From the parking to the birdhide is about 1 km.
