Description
Sint Antoniegorzen is a 91 hectare nature reserve with open grasslands, dikes and quays. It is a remnant of a tidal area, a landscape that used to be influenced by the ebb and flow of the tides. During the spring and autumn migration you can sometimes observe surprising birds here. You will also find many wading birds, waterfowl and birds of prey. It is situated between busy (water)ways but is nevertheless popular with birds.

Nederlands: Sint Antoniegorzen is een 91 hectare groot natuurgebied met open graslanden, dijken en kaden, naast Fort Sabina. Het is een restant van een getijdengors, een landschap dat vroeger onder invloed stond van eb en vloed. Tijdens de voor-en najaar trek kun je hier soms verrassende waarnemingen vinden. Verder vind je veel steltlopers, watervogels en roofvogels. Het ligt tussen drukke (vaar)wegen maar is toch populair onder vogels.

Access
Sint Antoniegorzen is located near Willemstad, next to Fort Sabina. Parking is available at Fort Sabina. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking. From the parking lot, you can easily walk to the bird hide. The area is also easily accessible by bike. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 5 km. Please note that on sunny days Willemstad is flooded with day-trippers.

Nederlands: Sint Antoniegorzen ligt vlak bij Willemstad naast Fort Sabina. Parkeren kan bij Fort Sabina. Druk op een P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar een parkeerplaats. Vanaf de parkeerplaats loop je zo naar de vogelkijkhut. Het gebied is ook gemakkelijk met de fiets bereikbaar. De rondwandeling die is weergegeven op de kaart is ongeveer 5 km. Houd er rekening mee dat op zonnige dagen Willemstad wordt overspoeld met dagjesmensen.
