Description
The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Korallsirály, Szerecsensirály, Kenti csér, Üstökös kárókatona, and Szula. Some rarer species that can be seen are the Mediterrán vészmadár, bukdosó vészmadár and baleári vészmadár. In winter Örvös bukó has been seen several years.
In the reeds Berki poszáta, cserregő nádiposzáta, asztrild, Nádi sármány, and Kucsmás poszáta can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Tőkés réce, Kis kócsag, Pásztorgém, Szürke gém and Jégmadár are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like cigánycsuk, Réti pityer, Házi rozsdafarkú, and Búbos banka.

The mouth of the Riera de Ribes is located at the seafront in Sitges, and can be reached by car, or by walking if you are in Sitges. You can park right there (click on the P on the map for further directions).
