Description

Sturkö is the largest island in the Blekinge archipelago, located in southern Sweden near Karlskrona. The island covers an area of about 581 hectares and is connected to the mainland by road bridges, making it easily accessible. This beautiful nature reserve is home to numerous bird species. Stroll along the rocky coast and look up. You'll see plenty of terns, gulls, Halászsas, and almost always a Rétisas. The landscape is incredibly diverse!

Access

Sturkö is located about 20 km southeast of Karlskrona. The island is connected to the mainland by bridges, so you can reach it easily by car or bike. Parking is no problem, as there are parking facilities in the surrounding villages or on the roads. Press a P on the map for directions. Many circular walks are possible. The circular route shown on the map is about 4 km.
