Description
Çelebibağı Marshes has different habitats that attract many bird species. The landscape is unique with vast mud flats in the Lake Van closed basin. Shorebirds and other water birds are abundant and the diversity of birds is impressive. Among the birds you can observe in the area are Vörös ásólúd, Rózsás flamingó, Guvat, Daru, Böjti réce, Gólyatöcs, Gulipán, Parti lile, Barna rétihéja, Kígyászölyv, Pusztai ölyv, Függőcinege, Gyurgyalag, Szalakóta, but also rare birds like Énekes hattyú, Kis hattyú, vékonycsőrű víztaposó and many more.
