Access
Layby at Lydney Docks, cross the canal lock and head south along sea wall. Also a layby at Plusterwine opposite dog kennels, cross railway and head towards the shoreline on public footpath. The route is also markes on the map (6 km one way) Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
Guscar Rocks (not marked on map below), between Plusterwine and Woolaston Grange, and the surrounding fields, is the best spot for waders (especially Nagy póling) but viewable only at a distance. Proceed to the foreshore as shown on the map; the route from Woolaston Grange tends to be flooded under the railbridge so wear wellies.
