Description
Blashford Lakes is a good place for birdwatching, as it has a large amount of bird species there. Blashford Lakes is a great place for observing overwintering birds such as Bölömbika, Barkóscinege and Nagy kócsag . The more regular species of this reserve include, a breeding colony of partifecske, breeding Jégmadár and Búbos vöcsök. On the lakes you can also spot wintering wildfowl such as Kerceréce and Nagy bukó.

Access
Blasford Lakes is between Poulner and Verwood ( which are both small towns ), and is easily accessed from both of these locations. If you go to Blashford the carpark for the reserve is in the education centre on the southside of Ellingham road.
