Description
Brookmill's habitat is actively managed to provide the best conditions for species that are harder to spot elsewhere in London, including Jégmadár, Kis kócsag, Barátposzáta and sárgafejű királyka. The pond is very peaceful and particularly pretty in spring, with a very loud dawn chorus. Nílusi lúd, Mandarinréce and Szürke gém also feed there.

The park is right alongside Elverson Station (on London's DLR line) or just five minutes from Lewisham centre. There's a cycle path that cuts through the park that reaches London's Thames path at Greenwich in less than 15 minutes.
