Description
The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. Fülemüle and Vadgerle can be heard, and a colony of Szerecsensirály are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are kis poszáta, Örvös lúd, Bütykös ásólúd, Kakukk, Örvös bukó, Gulipán, Csigaforgató, Ezüstlile, Bíbic, Nagy póling, Havasi partfutó and Nagy goda.
