Description
Fowlmere Nature Reserve is a wildlife oasis set within farmland. Home to breeding Vadgerle, Guvat and Gyöngybagoly and winter roosts of Nádi sármány. Barkóscinege and Bölömbika are found occasionally in winter, and otters and water voles are regularly seen. The paths and boardwalks of the nature trail offer views over most of the reserve and access to the hides and viewing points. However, some sections of the 1.8 mile (3 km) circular trail can be muddy during the winter. Other birds you can see here are Jégmadár, Vörös kánya, Foltos nádiposzáta, Seregély, Kis vöcsök, Bíbic and Csörgo réce.
