Description
At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including Kis bukó, Nagy bukó and Örvös bukó in winter, when Bíbic, Kanalas réce and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings cserregő nádiposzáta, Foltos nádiposzáta, Réti tücsökmadár to breed, and kormos szerkő, Hantmadár and rozsdás csuk on migration. In summer, Kabasólyom hunt swallows over the ponds.
