Description
Around the Fish Quay in Hartlepool gulls hang around, especially on the roof. Often joined in winter by Sarki sirály and Jeges sirály. In the harbour entrance Pehelyréce, Északi búvár, Jeges búvár and lumma can often be seen. Sea watching by the lighthouse can produce a large variety of gulls, ducks, auks, terns, skua’s and shearwaters at various times of the year. The rocks along side the promenade are home to Tengeri partfutó, Csigaforgató and kőforgató that winter in Hartlepool bay.
