The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Vörös kánya and occasional sightings of Kékes rétihéja and Kabasólyom. In early summer you can observe Kakukk ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Nagy póling pairs on the tops. Vízirigó along the local streams. Szürke légykapó nests locally.
