Middleton-in-Teesdale is a market town in County Durham. The settlement is surrounded by the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spring offers a great opportunity of seeing a range of birds, including woodland specialists (Kormos légykapó Kerti rozsdafarkú), moorland specialists and bird of upland rivers such as Nyírfajd, billegetőcankó and Vízirigó.
