Description
From September to November, and in April/May Painswick hill is good for seeing migrants, especially early morning. Hundreds of Örvös galamb, Aranylile, Erdei pinty, Seregély, fenyőrigó, szőlőrigó and Szajkó can pass through. Also fenyőpinty, Csíz, Meggyvágó, Citromsármány, Kabasólyom, Vándorsólyom, Kis sólyom, Örvös rigó, Vörös kánya, Karvaly and Kékes rétihéja possible. For report on insect life see link below.

4 miles south of Gloucester on B4073 Painswick road. M5 junction 12. 66 bus from Cheltenham stops nearby. Be aware of golfers, dont obstruct play or become an accidental target. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 4,5 km.
