Description
The River Monnow is a scenic area noted for blossoming fruit orchards in spring. On warm mornings up to 50 Holló soar the thermals, with Egerészölyv and maybe a Karvaly. On the river there are Szürke gém, Kis kócsag, hegyi billegető, partifecske, Sarlósfecske, Jégmadár, Vízirigó and Mandarinréce. The fruit orchards attract large numbers of wintering fenyőrigó and szőlőrigó.
