Description
Schiehallion is a prominent cone-shaped mountain in the Breadalbane region of the Scottish Highlands. It rises to 1,083 metres. Schiehallion has all the typical Scottish upland birds: Réti pityer, Hantmadár, Mezei pacsirta, Réti fülesbagoly, Kékes rétihéja, Szirti sas, vörös vércse, Kis sólyom, Vándorsólyom, Vörös kánya, Dolmányos varjú, Holló, Red Grouse, Nyírfajd and Örvös rigó. Hósármány and Sarki hófajd above 2,000ft/900m. Apparently, no Havasi lile.

Access
Car park at Braes of Foss. 10 miles north of Aberfeldy on B846, then left on minor road. Walk to summit is 2.8 miles (4.5 km) each way. Prepare for the high ground: wear stout boots, warm waterproof clothing, check weather forecast, carry food, water, charged mobile phone.
