Description
The flooded former gravel workings in the Kennet valley running over four miles from south west Reading to Sulhampstead attracts birds all year round. Among the birds you can encounter are Barátposzáta, kis poszáta, Kerti poszáta, Berki poszáta, Kabasólyom and Fülemüle. There is a substantial population of Winter ducks, mostly dabbling, including hundreds of Kontyos réce, Kendermagos réce and Fütyülő réce and the odd Kerceréce.
