Description
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as Füstös cankó, Havasi lile, Szürke cankó and billegetőcankó. In the dunes there may be Sarkantyús sármány, Hósármány, Haris, Réti fülesbagoly or Réti tücsökmadár. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding lumma, Alka, északi sirályhojsza, csüllő, Üstökös kárókatona and perhaps Vándorsólyom or Havasi varjú.

Access
Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
