Description
The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of lumma crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of Alka, Üstökös kárókatona and csüllő. Havasi varjú are regular here as are Vándorsólyom. In the spring and summer Hantmadár are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce Kis sólyom, possibly Kékes rétihéja and good flocks of Aranylile. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.
