Description
Valley Wetlands RSPB Reserve has Bölömbika that can be heard booming and occasionally flying over the reedbeds. There is a partifecske colony on the river Crigyll, plus Nádi sármány, cserregő nádiposzáta, Foltos nádiposzáta, Réti tücsökmadár, cigánycsuk and Mezei pacsirta. In winter Kanalas réce, Fütyülő réce, Csörgo réce and Nyílfarkú réce. Best to visit before 8.30 am as the jets from the aerodrome are noisy later on. There are otters, dragonflies and pyramid orchids.

Valley Wetlands has a car park on site. The reserve is in the NW corner of Anglesey and accessible by bus or car, see link below. There is also a train station at Rhosneigr.
