Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many Dílaskarfur and Stokkönd are seen throughout the year, often with Kanadagæs and some Grágæs. In winter, Skúfönd and Gargönd are common, and sometimes Rauðhöfðaönd and even Grafönd are also seen.

Gravière Vogelau is located 8 km north of Strasbourg. From Strasbourg, take the road heading north towards Schiltigheim. You can park along the streets. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. Best to explore the area on foot.
