Auenbiotop Großheubach has two small lakes with reedbelt close to the river Main. Walking 1-2 hours around the northern lake. Possibility to see waterfowl like Skúfönd, Grágæs, Kanadagæs and Hnúðsvanur. Big area of reeds and willows are breeding place for Seftittlingur and Rindilþvari. Always good for some rarities like Sefþvari, waders or Kolþerna.

Auenbiotop Großheubach is located close to the village of Großheubach. You can park with your car in the street in the east of the area, where you will always find a parking spot. Press P on the map for directions. The walking route indicated on the map is about 1,5 km.
