Description
The Beuerbacher See is a small scenic lake surrounded by forest located between three villages in the municipality of Hünstetten. With a bit of luck, especially in January, you might spot Bláþyrill. Other birds that can be found around the lake and the adjacent mixed forest include common birds like Gráhegri, Stokkönd, Nílarönd, Skúfönd, Dílaskarfur, Músvákur, Maríuerla, Runntítla, Bókfinka, Barrspæta, Hnotigða, Svartþröstur, Skjór, Glóbrystingur, Blámeisa, and Flotmeisa. Less common birds you can observe include Laufmeisa, Kjarnbítur, Dómpápi, Svartspæta, Gultittlingur, and Trjáspör.

Der Beuerbacher See is located just outside the village of Beuerbach. The lake is easily accessible by car. There are two small parking areas within walking distance of the lake. Press P on the map for directions to a parking area. The circular walk around the lake is less than 1 km.
